Ever since Jewish Community Watch started, we have received hundreds of requests for a listing of our criteria on publicizing child molesters. This list has not been published for three reasons:
1) Publicizing the criterions necessary for a child molester to be exposed would enable said child molester to ensure that he or she did not meet any of those criterions. In other words, if we listed that we needed three solid victims in order to expose someone, that someone may contact the three victims he or she molested and threaten or bribe them not to come forward.
2) Listing our criteria would make it far easier for false allegations to be made. For instance, if one of our requirements was that we needed two solid victims, two people would be able to conspire against someone they disliked rather easily. In fact, they might be able to fabricate every requirement we may list.
3) Every case that we have exposed has had very unique details. These unique details have made it virtually impossible to hold every predator to the same standard.
While we acknowledge the public’s frustration, publishing the elements necessary to expose a predator is simply an impossibility. Please have faith in knowing that Jewish Community Watch has never made a mistake. Months upon months of research are dedicated to uncovering every appalling detail related to every case. Within our database of alleged predators not 15% have been exposed. Our goal here is not to destroy predator’s lives, rather to save those of others. Tarnishing our reputation with false allegations would simply destroy the possibility of that goal. It would also ruin an innocent person’s reputation and, not to mention, bankrupt us. If any of the exposed predators on this site decide to take us to court, our legal staff are ready and prepared to defend our cases.
It should be noted that before the exposition of a predator, their case is brought before a board including Rabbonim, therapists and attorneys and a unanimous decision decides whether he or she will be exposed. In addition, certain situations have been brought to light where the predator is undergoing extensive therapy, not involved with children and is paying for their victims therapy as well. In those instances, as long as he or she abides by the conditions we set, this predator will not be exposed as he or she is deemed not to be a threat.
