Most children grow up believing that most people are good. That love is good. But for so many, the new world they encounter is a silent torturous world fraught with shady individuals who exploit their innocence.
Hungry wolves are waiting in the shadows to pounce on the young and tender lambs who are blissfully unaware of their stalker’s evil plans. Those that fall victim to the jaws of the merciless predator that is called a pedophile are sentenced to years of guilt and pain.
Wounded and weak they submit to this new world of a hunter who hides in the shadows of the silence of others. The only way that our tender young children can be saved is if the light of truth is shined in the dark places were these individuals hide and on those who cover their tracks enabling them to murder the innocence of multiple youth.
One must realize that no one chooses to be a victim, but a perpetrator makes a conscious decision to be an abuser. Abuse does not discriminate; anyone can be an abuser, and anyone can fall victim.
Those who are hurt often need years of therapy and intense work to reclaim their bodies, and their life. Sexual abuse leaves deep wounds and is devastating to the victim and all of those around.
Baruch Hashem there is an organization run by special people who work around the clock to help those hurt and bring justice to molesters. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of denial and JCW works tirelessly to protect our communities. Their work is literally lifesaving and extremely kadosh.
I can personally testify to their amazing and unique devotion to helping survivors like myself, rebuild our lives and break free from the prisons of silence and guilt in which most victims hide.
As a survivor of abuse and a mother I am beyond grateful to know that there are good people in the world who are fighting to make this world a safer place by exposing wolves who hide in sheep’s clothing among our children.
