I was abused when I was 12 years old. It took me more than 15 years to sit in the same room with the person that sexually abused me. The meeting was organized by JCW and its affiliates discreetly, professionally and just as importantly, sensitively for all parties involved. It is not likely that this would have occurred without the birth of this organization and it’s extremely dedicated and self-sacrificing staff.
This was my experience and there are hundreds more with similar experiences, which the public does not read or hear about on a daily basis.
JCW is delivering on its promise to prevent, educate and heal hundreds of people spanning multiple continents.
We all know people that have been abused, whether or not they have told us so.
Our kids continue to attend the same schools and camps that have enabled the abuse.
This conversation will affect the lives of our children one way or another as it has affected our families and friends.
Darkness and evil feed on apathy. JCW has taken a stand against apathy.
