In 2006 Dahan was convicted of molesting two minor adolescent girls who he met while working in the Beit Knesset Netiv Hayosher. Dahan was sentenced to 4 years incarceration. Dahan has since been released and is again working in the Netiv Hayosher shul as a gabbai.
