In 2006 David Kaye was caught on NBC's "To catch a predator" program, trying to meet a detective posing as a male minor for sex. He was convicted on federal charges of traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct as well as coercion and enticement, and sentenced to six years in prison.
