In July 2014 Friedman was arrested after police identified images of child pornography streaming from Friedman's IP address, and detectives found over 150,000 images and videos of child pornography on Friedman's devices. In July 2015 Friedman pled guilty and was sentenced to two years imprisonment, 20 years probation, and required to register as a sex offender.
