In 2017, Jedd Greenwald was arrested for molesting a child who had come into a medical clinic for treatment in Beitar Ilit where he worked as a nurse. After additional victims came forward, Greenwald pled guilty to multiple sexual abuse charges in July 2018 and was sentenced to seven years imprisonment.
